Introducing New Nucs
Timing: Introduce new nucs in early spring when the weather is warm enough for bees to forage and establish themselves.
Location: Place nucs in a sunny, sheltered area to promote activity and reduce stress on the bees.
Feeding: Provide sugar syrup or protein supplements to help the new colony build strength and resources.
Observation: Monitor the nuc for signs of successful queen acceptance and brood development.
